Workspaces — Sites and Teams​

Using the workspace request app, users submit requests for new SharePoint sites and Microsoft Teams based on templates that have been designed and governed by your organization. Once a request is approved, the workspace is automatically created within 10–15 minutes using the defined template — a repeatable and scalable model that works consistently across your entire tenant.

Every new workspace inherits your organization's standards automatically: site columns, content types, taxonomy, retention and sensitivity labels, and Business Authority metadata. No manual setup. No retrofit.

Libraries and lists​

Once a workspace exists, users add structure to it the same way — through a catalogue of pre-approved library and list templates curated by your information-management team. Users browse the catalogue, pick what fits the work, and submit. Within minutes, the library is created on the target workspace with the right columns, content types, and labels already applied.
